Agatha Raisin & The Quiche of Death: April 27-29th Spring Play

Deep Run High School’s spring play is right around the corner! The Out of the Woods theatre company has been working hard to bring Agatha Raisin & The Quiche of Death alive on their stage. This obscure British comedy revolves around Agatha Raisin, who moves into a new village and chooses to participate in their annual quiche-making competition. Little did she expect one of the judges to die from a poisoned quiche entry! The murder accusations are quickly placed on Agatha and her quiche, so she must solve the mystery to prove herself innocent. Will Agatha be able to find the real killer and crack the case? You’ll have to watch to find out! The cast and crew have spent the past couple of months putting together this entertaining production, whether by learning a British accent from a dialect coach (yes, the whole cast needed to learn a new accent!) or constructing and painting set pieces. This past fall, the theatre company put on a production of Into the Woods, which was a hit with audiences! Agatha Raisin & The Quiche of Death is expected to have similar results.

The show dates are April 27-29th in Deep Run’s auditorium at 7 pm each night. Tickets cost $10 dollars in advance and $12 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased online at https://www.onthestage.tickets/show/deep-run-high-school/641b31741b40a163f05bf19d.

Come watch the enthralling murder mystery comedy! You certainly don’t want to miss it!
