Deep Run High School is a dynamic, comprehensive learning community for students from diverse backgrounds to grow educationally, get involved, and to have a high-quality, meaningful high school experience. In every way schools are measured, whether it is academically, in the fine and performing arts, or athletically, our Wildcats excel. We are proud to have received a National Blue Ribbon School designation from the U.S. Department of Education in 2018 — the only high school in Virginia to receive the designation that year. Our building is truly a special place because of our students, faculty, staff, families and community.

We strive to create an environment where each student is given the attention necessary to achieve his/her highest levels of individual success. All of this is made possible by strong partnerships developed with our students and their families over time.

We recognize high school might create feelings of both excitement and trepidation for our students and their families.
