ACE Center at Hermitage Hosts Virginia Career Works Event for Seniors
The ACE Center at Hermitage is excited to announce an upcoming event that will provide valuable information about career pathways for our graduating seniors. Virginia Career Works will be hosting this event on May 27th from 1:00-2:00 PM at the ACE Center (upstairs above the forum). This event aims to help students navigate their next steps after graduation by connecting them with resources and opportunities for meaningful employment and career development.
Virginia Career Works is dedicated to fostering economic stability and growth by linking individuals seeking employment with businesses looking to hire. Through its extensive network of training providers and professional partners, Virginia Career Works serves as a vital resource for career development in Virginia.
How to Attend:
Interested students must complete the Google Form by May 19th.
Students must arrange their own transportation to the event.
Most mandatory graduation practices at home schools are in the morning, so the afternoon event should fit into their schedules.
For those unable to attend, we encourage exploring the Virginia Career Works website and saving it as a resource for future use. Graduates can contact Virginia Career Works after graduation to utilize their services.
We are thrilled to support our students in connecting with valuable career opportunities. For any questions, please reach out to Carrie Yeatts, Career Development Facilitator, Workforce and Career Development, Henrico County Public Schools.
